Welcome to Holy Grounds Coffee & Bagel Shop, the ultimate destination for bagel lovers in Cresaptown, MD! We are a charming restaurant specializing in freshly baked bagels and premium coffee, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere for our valued customers.
For Holy Grounds and the Porter's, Cresaptown is home. Dave Porter grew up in Cresaptown. Dave and Paulette married in 1985 and their first home was on Brant Road. Their two sons Ray and Marshall spent much time in Cresaptown with their grandmother Dottie even though the family lived on the Porter Farm. In 2018 Paulette had the calling to open a coffee shop and she said, "If I ever had a coffee shop, I would call it Holy Grounds." Holy Grounds opened in 2018 where the Porter's served the LaVale community for nearly 5 years.
Now the Porter's consider this Cresaptown location as home and Lord willing, look forward to serving the community for many years to come. Make sure you try Paulette's home-made fresh dough pizza that she learned from her mother and her waffles on Saturdays that she learned from her father. Paulette's father would love to serve waffles for the family with love as her mother loved to make her home-made fresh dough pizza for her family.
Most of all Holy Grounds hopes to provide a light to community and spread Christ's Love everywhere.
